Move in!

The house is clean, quiet and ready for move in day tomorrow.  Over the Christmas break, the finishing trades have been diligent at coming to fix up the last remaining items.  The family is ready to start life in their new home and while the next couple of weeks will be chaotic I'm sure, the reviews so far are great.  We have built a very practical home with some great finishes and the exterior seems like it will fit into the neighbourhood for years to come.  This build has been very enjoyable, with responsiveness on the client's end making the process very smooth.  Enjoy!

Painter returns

With the other signs of finishing comes the return of the painter.  Mick will be in the house for another few days doing all of the little touch ups, repairs and final coat on the now-installed shoe mold.

Kitchen now complete!

With the countertops in, we can finally say we have a completed kitchen!  The guys from Rosedale Kitchens were in to do some finishing touches, as other things are also being done to prepare for move in day...

Countertops... check!

The countertops went in today in the kitchen and laundry room.  Danny and Marlen opted for a light coloured island and grey surrounding countertop to contrast against the light and dark cabinetry.  Looking good.  The crew was in there well past 7pm so it was a fairly long day.
